2008 Progeny Earnings Are The Highest Of Any Sire Outside Of Kentucky In History!
12/14/2008- NOT FOR LOVE has raised the bar every year, with 2008 his best yet! He has passed the $6 million in progeny earnings for the year – a new Maryland milestone and more than enough to make him the 15th ranked stallion in the U.S.
NOT FOR LOVE’s 14 stakes winners include BROADWAY PRODUCER who just powered to victory in the Saturday, Dec. 13, feature at Laurel Park, the $50,000 Jennings Handicap.
Bred by Alice Wolf and her late husband, Larry M. Wolf, in the name of their Fast Kitty Farms, BROADWAY PRODUCER is the fourth foal from his dam, Lucky Sword, whom the Wolfs purchased for $15,000 at the 1995 Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company April 2-year-olds in training sale. Lucky Sword won eight of 24 starts, including the Batna Stakes, and retired with earnings of $106,465. The Wolfs sold Broadway Producer for $52,000 at the 2004 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Eastern Fall Yearling sale.
