Lion Hearted Daughter Dominates Stake At Charles Town

08/17/2009- LION HEARTED’s 3-year-old daughter JOLIE ANGE, facing older runners in Charles Town’s Sadie Hawkins S. on Aug. 15, dashed home by a widening margin to win by 4-1/4 lengths for her first stakes win, and third win in four starts in 2009.

JOLIE ANGE, a Nancy Terhune homebred trained by Gary Capuano, has been dazzling rivals since her first start of the year in May, with an average winning margin of nearly six lengths! She becomes LION HEARTED’s 11th stakes winner.

LION HEARTED is currently ranked second on the Mid-Atlantic sires’ list in 2009 with more than $2 million in earnings. Lifetime, he has had more than 73 percent of his runners reach the winner’s circle. Now that’s the cat’s meow!
